This successful program provides the Sales Manager with the tools needed to more effectively recruit, manage, motivate, build and retain successful sales teams.

Each of these programs will be customized to fit my customer’s challenges, ongoing needs, visions and goals. They concentrate on the Sales Management activities and expectations.

Too often a Sales Manager has been promoted from the ranks of the sales team only to find that their sales skills are not enough to effectively manage a group of salespeople.

There are many components of the Sales Manager Coaching and Mentoring Program. These components can be utilized in total as an overall Sales Management Coaching and Mentoring Program or they can be broken apart individually or in any number of combinations.

Many of my customers have engaged my services on an ongoing scheduled basis. This enables their Sales Manager to receive the benefits of constant and consistent strategic coaching and mentoring.

Coaching and Mentoring Program:
Sales Manager

  1. Perform an Assessment of the Sales Manager in order to determine their strengths/weaknesses and develop a customized activity plan to meet their ongoing needs
  2. Develop metrics to be used in measuring Sales Manager progress
  3. Develop metrics to be used in measuring Account Executive progress
  4. Assist in the development of Internal Sales Meeting Agendas
  5. Work with the Sales Manager prior to their One-On-One meeting with their sales staff
  6. Development of Quarterly, Semi-Annual and/or yearly Sales Manager Assessments
  7. Development of Quarterly, Semi-Annual and/or yearly Account Executive Assessments
  8. Assist in the development and management of Account Business Plans
  9. Assist in the development of the measurements, processes and activity levels needed to insure more accurate forecasting
  10. Assist in the development of Account Executive PIP’s (Performance Improvement Plans)
  11. Act as an ongoing Mentor and Coach for the Sales Manager
  12. Assessment of the effectiveness of current and proposed compensation programs
  13. Assist in the development of new compensation programs
